"42 ROTATIONS" screening at Pride Film Shorts Awards

Adrian + Shane's award nominated short film "42 ROTATIONS" will be screened at Pride Film Shorts Awards on Sunday 21st June in Pantibar, 7-8 Capel St, Dublin. Admission in FREE.

Filmed at the Astoria (G-A-Y) in London on November 19th 2005 using a Canon IXUS 50 digital camera. It was originally meant to take a photograph but the camera was on the wrong setting and recorded a (one second long) accidental film instead! We then used that second of video footage, repeating the same clip over and over 42 times. The color changes with each repetition. We used the original sound, you don't hear any music, just a loud violent noise.

Join award winning writer and actor Mark O’Halloran for screening of the shortlisted Pride Film Shorts and presentation of awards. Just six weeks ago Dublin LGBTQ Pride launched a competition to find a short film that best represented this years theme of Pride and Prejudice? Entries for the first Pride Films shorts competition have been of a high standard. This years judging panel will consist of leading Irish film practitioners.
